These terms apply when you use the tools on ToolsBasic. By continuing to use the site you accept them.
Scope of the service
The tools are free and require no account. Their behaviour, limits and availability may change without notice, and a tool may be withdrawn or taken down for maintenance.
Acceptable use
- Do not upload content you have no right to use; copyright and personal-data responsibility for your uploads stays with you.
- Uploading illegal content, sending malicious files, or straining the service with automated bulk requests or counter inflation is prohibited.
- Wrapping the tools behind another service and consuming them automatically goes beyond fair use.
Limits
The ceiling is 24 MB per file and 20 files per queue. Request rates may be limited to prevent overload, and some formats depend on server support.
Limitation of liability
The tools are provided as they are. Fitness of the output for a particular purpose is not guaranteed, so keep a backup of important files before processing them. We are not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the site.
Intellectual property
The design, copy and software of the site belong to us. The files you upload and the output you generate belong to you; we claim no rights over them.
