- Output is a 320 by 320 pixel PNG.
- The image itself is rendered by an external service (api.qrserver.com), so the text you enter is sent there.
- Include the protocol in links: an address starting with https:// opens directly on phones.
- Longer text packs the pattern tighter, which shortens the distance the code can be scanned from.
Picking the right tool

Because it depends on an external service, this tool is not the place for sensitive content such as passwords, private links or personal data. It also offers no design controls: no logo embedding, colour changes or error-correction level.
Quick tips
- In print, keep the code at least 2 by 2 centimetres; smaller than that is hard for phones.
- Leave white space around the code — scanners need the quiet zone to find the edges.
- Test with two different phones before publishing, especially on glossy surfaces.
Where your data is processed
The work happens locally and your data stays on the device. The single outgoing request is the usage counter, and your text is not part of it. Advertising and measurement cookies operate at page level, never inside the tool.
